Wrist/Ankle Restraint Webbing Padding

The purpose of the Wrist/Ankle Restraint Webbing Padding is to protect patients who are restrained using the Pelican
Wrist/Ankle Restraint Webbing
(sold separately).
The Padding is made from a soft, flexible, waterproof, and breathable material, and the cover is heat-sealed for infection control.
To Use
First determine the size of the patient’s limbs, and use the red colored vinyl for small limbs and blue for larger limbs. Once the patient is under control, remove the restraint one limb at a time, and ensure the patient remains under control while adding the padding to the webbing.
Thread the restraint webbing under the loops on the outside of the padding, put the restraint back on the patient, and fasten it to the bed, trolley, or other appropriate surface.
Please note that hospital staff may modify these instructions for individual patients in certain circumstances.
