The TA IQ RWD is a powerchair for everyday use, with greater access and functionality, outdoors and indoors. It is extremely easy to manage and has superb driving performance thanks to the large drive wheel that is positioned at the rear. The small drive wheel is mounted on gas springs with an adjustable coil spring which provides great soft suspension and a quiet ride over bumps.
The minimum turning radius is 65cm allowing it to spin and manoeuvre.
All TA chairs can be supplied with a colour display control box with straight forward icons that makes it easy to scan the menu or with a control box without display but with buttons featuring symbols for all of the chairs functions. Programming of the functions are customised to suit the individual users needs.
A minimum seat plate height of only 38cm means the TA iQ will fit under tables, desks and allows visibility when driving from the chair in a vehicle. A 30cm lift (to 68cm) allows improved communication as well as making it easier to reach storage in kitchens, bathrooms and other areas. Conscious of costs and government funded budgets, the TA iQ was designed to reduce the need for further customisation by being highly specified.
