STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture is a knotless tissue control device suitable for wound closures. STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture should be used by users familiar with surgical procedures, techniques, tissues, and use of absorbable devices for wound closures. STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture should not be used for fascial closures, cardiovascular tissue, neural tissue, osseous tissue, tendinous tissue, ophthalmic surgery, or for use in microsurgery as the safety of this device has not been established for these purposes.
STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture provides a familiar wound-closure technique by having a closure beginning at one end of an incision. STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture has an adjustable fixation loop, allowing the device to be knotless. STRATAFIX™ Spiral Monocryl® Plus Suture also offers Plus Antibacterial Technology, addressing risk factors that may come with Surgical Site Infections, making it suitable for organ closure when additional tension control is appropriate.
