Patient Handling Stocking Slider

The Stocking Slider is used to aid the patient and/or carer in putting on tight fitting open-toe compression stockings and can also be used on the arms.  The use of this product helps to prevent tearing of the patient’s skin and can also provide protection for existing skin lesions.
It is made from a strong and slippery nylon with a webbed loop at one end to help remove the stocking sliders from under the bandage. The closed toe design ensures the foot or arm will not fall through. The Stocking Slider is 34cm in length and can be tucked into itself. This product is a Class 1 medical device and is therefore non invasive and sterile.
