The Novis AreaCare Pressure Surface Mattress is designed to be a quality pressure surface for use in residential care, home care and hospitals. This mattress is made up of high-density memory foam with a medium density foam core base and is 3 layers.
An inner cotton cover covers the foam for increased protection.
To reduce shear and friction, the polyurethane top cover has a multi-stretch material and is double strength multi-stretch fabric.  The seams have been stitched to increase strength and then welded or tape sealed for minimum infection control. The PVC base is non-slip to ensure the mattress stays in position on the bed.
The cover of the Novis AreaCare Pressure Surface Mattress has been treated for dust mites, mould, bacteria and mildew, and has an asset management panel for recording facility details. The top cover and PVC base can be cleaned with warm water and a sodium hypochlorite solution (or similar), top cover can be machine washed up to 80 degrees.
The standard model suits any 150 mm high foam mattress. The King Single model suits the Triple Layer King surface.
Both models are suitable for articulated beds. The King Single mattress is hinged for profiling.
