AQUACEL® Ag Non-Adhesive Foam dressing Square 10cm x 10cm have been formulated to be a primary dressing. Comprised of a soft foam pad for fluid absorption, waterproof and bacteria barrier to prevent moisture transmission and protection from bacteria penetration and with a silicone adhesive boarder outside the wound bed. It is ideally used for exuding acute or chronic wounds prone to infection.
With Hydrofiber® Technology gels this dressing provides:
Lock in wound exudate, including harmful components
Help maintain a moist wound healing environment
Help prevent lateral spread of fluid, reducing risk of maceration
Micro-contour to the wound bed, minimising dead space where bacteria can grow
Kill a wide variety of micro-organisms, including certain tested antibiotic-resistant superbugs, with powerful ionic silver
