Handi Lift Walk Belt for Ambulance Services

The Handi Lift Walk Belt for Ambulance Services was specifically developed as an ambulance service belt.
This popular Belt is just one of many manual handling aids we supply for use when transferring patients. The Belts have two adjustable buckles at the front, and four large padded vertical webbing handles.
The Belts are normally used with two Carers working together. If necessary, one Carer with training can work alone, depending on the patient.
Sometimes for a lady with a pendulous bust, it may be better to use a
Soft Transfer Belt
, as this has a narrow belt and buckle and may be easier to fit around the waist.
These Belts are sometimes referred to as Pelican Belts, Johnny Belts or Transfer Belts.
