DESCRIPTION

• Fresubin® 2kcal Fibre is a nutritionally complete, high calorie (2.0 kcal/ml), high protein (20% energy) oral nutritional supplement, with fibre. High in vitamin D.
• Cappuccino flavour contains trace of caffeine (0.65mg/100ml).
• Lactose and gluten free.
• Energy: 400 kcal / per 200 ml
• Protein: 20 g / per 200 ml

INDICATIONS

• For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease-related malnutrition, in particular for patients with increased energy and protein needs or fluid restrictions.
• Fresubin® 2kcal is a Food for Special Medical Purposes.
• Fresubin® 2kcal is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patient, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula plus CAPD and haemodialysis.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

• Store in a cool place, do not store above 25°C.
• Shake well before use.
• Once opened, can be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator.
• Drink slowly.
• Best served chilled.
• Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
• Shelf Life: 15 months from date of manufacture
