Exufiber® Ag+ with Hydrolock® technology is a sterile, non-woven gelling fibre dressing made from highly absorbent polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres. Exufiber Ag+ has a rapid and long-lasting antimicrobial effect against a broad range pathogens.

The Exufiber Ag+ has superior exudate retention capacity compared to other gelling fibre dressings. The Hydrolock® technology helps to create an optimal healing environment for wounds and reduces the risk of leakages and maceration. Exufiber® Ag+ contains fine silver sulphate crystals which dissolve upon contact with exudate, releasing silver ions that kill a broad range of pathogens within just 3 hours. Exufiber Ag+ is able to sustain its antimicrobial effect for up to seven days. Exufiber dressing stays in intact for clean, easy one-piece removal without leaving any residues in the wound bed.
