As a static pressure relieving surface, the mattress provides effective pressure relief without the need for the control unit. However, when dynamic therapy is clinically required, the mattress can be easily connected to the compact control unit for immediate support. This seamless transition ensures continuous patient comfort throughout the process.
The mattress combines a durable foam core with alternating air cells that are embedded with castellated foam. This combination provides both comfort and support for patients weighing up to 230 kg. The castellated foam adjusts to the mattress’s profile, while the static head area foam offers stable support for a restful sleep experience.
To address concerns about setting the correct pressure levels, the mattress features AutoCair, an automatic weight-sensing technology. This innovative feature adjusts the pressure settings based on the patient’s weight, ensuring they remain within a safe pressure range for effective therapy. AutoCair provides fail-safe patient comfort and support without the need for manual adjustments.
