Biosyn™
synthetic absorbable sutures are prepared from Gylcomer™ 631, a synthetic polyester composed of glycolide (60%), dioxanone (14%), and trimethylene carbonate (26%). These sutures are colored violet to increase visibility and are also available undyed.
