Aquacel® Foam Pro Heel is an advanced foam dressing, utilising the benefits of silicone foam and advantages of hydrofibre. It is used for the management of non-exuding wounds and may be used during comprehensive protocols protecting intact skin against breakdown. Covered with a protective top layer the dressings of smooth breathable polyurethane films handling evaporation (MVTR) of absorbed wound fluid. Within the multi-layered foam bandage hydrofibre technology maintains microclimate on the skin, vertical absorption and reduces risk of leakage and maceration round the skin.
