Our Animal Lapbags are an appealing version of the weighted lapbag. They come in a choice of designs - a dog, a cat or a duck. The ears are a useful extra fidget option!Animal Lap Bags have been designed with the guidance of Occupational Therapists (us!!) who specialise in the sensory processing. They have been developed to help children calm and organise themselves by providing deep pressure input while in a seated position. Calming for children in the classroom, at home or in the car. They're also great for children to snuggle at bedtime to help with settling.Animal lapbags come filled with poly pellets so they are fully machine washable. The lap bags are double-sewn into segmented pouches for maximum flexibility, strength and comfort.Weight 1.5 kg, 49 x 30cmAs a general guideline we tend to advise 1.5kg for approximately 3 years plus, however it really depends on the sensory processing needs of the child. The general guideline is 5-10% of the child's bodyweight.
