3M™ Sensitivity Solution is a sweet solution used to trial the saccharin solution's sensitivity to a respirator wearer. It is used alongside the 3M™ Qualitative Fit test Apparatus Kit FT-10 Sweet. The 3M™ Sensitivity Solution is used to fit test 3M™ Disposable, and Reusable Half Face respirators and is a replacement part for 3M™ Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kit FT-10 Sweet. This product is for occupational use only.
The 3M Qualitative Fit test Apparatus are designed for fit testing disposable and half face reusable respirators fitted with particulate or combination gas/vapour and particulate pre-filter. Offering two solution types for the Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kits, 3M™ provides FT-10 (Sweet) and FT-30 (Bitter) for personal choice. However, a small percentage of the trialled population cannot detect saccharin, in which case the bitter solution test must be used.
