Varilite Icon Deep Back Support

The Varilite Icon Deep Back System aims to provide a solution for the user, carer, clinician or technician looking for versatility, fast installation and simple operation, this Varilite Back Support is attached to the user’s wheelchair with the VariLock hardware. The Varilite Icon Deep Back System is a lightweight support that offers deeper trunk support as well as a larger style of back with many adjustment capabilities. The user will enjoy full range of motion of the upper body and trunk as the body is unimpeded, allowing the user to improve their daily living. Mild lateral support is provided where the shell curves around the sides of the body. This back support comes with an enhanced rollover cushion which will protect the user and ensure maximum comfort.
The Varilite Icon Deep Back Support is easy to use, utilising caps which simply need to be opened and the Support will slide out of the wheelchair with one hand. The Support sits in Varilite Icon Hardware that is installed onto the wheelchair. The hardware installs quickly and easily with only two parts requiring attachment, using only one tool. If required the angle, width, depth and height of the hardware can be adjusted using the easily accessible screws – adjustments can be made whilst the user is in the chair, enabling you to reach optimum comfort.
The Varilite Icon Deep Back Support is accompanied by the rollover cushion which will offer protection from the edge of the shell during weight shifting or extension activities. This cushion is secured underneath the cover and will stay in place.
