Thermoregulating Mattress Topper

The Thermoregulating Mattress Topper is designed for people who may not be able to control their body temperature when sleeping. This may be due to a number of reasons that may include:
Reaction to medication
Menopause
A physical disability that prevents someone from removing the bed blankets
A personal condition such as a form of
hyperhidrosis
, etc.
Some people who are undergoing cancer treatment such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy may benefit from the cooling material.
About the Thermoregulating (TR) Material
TR Material contains
micro-encapsulated
Phase Change Materials
(PCMs),
and was first developed to help astronauts maintain their body temperature. It allows heat from the body to escape, or if the body is getting cold, it traps the warmth.
To Fit
Place the Mattress Topper on the mattress. The four elastic corner straps are long enough to fit very deep mattresses . Fit the elastic straps under the corners of the mattress and adjust the elastic using the buckle to make a secure fit. Do not over tighten the elastic straps so the elastic will be able to expand when the person gets into bed.
When fitting, be aware that the TR Mattress Topper material does not have any stretch properties, so the material may crease up under the patient. The benefit of stopping perspiration may be more beneficial for the patient without comprising pressure care. After using, as normal good nursing practice, the patient’s skin integrity should always be checked.
Warnings
As the reason why people perspire can vary a lot, we cannot guarantee the TR Material will work for everyone. We are unable to accept the items back for credit if they do not work, because of cross infection.
Highly Flammable Material. Keep away from flames, cigarettes, etc. Store in a cool, dry place away from any potential sources of ignition.
