How To Fit:
The forces that cause pronation symptoms can only be controlled if the density of the orthosis is selected carefully. Consider the weight and activity level of the patient. More weight or higher activity levels require a firmer density. For example, medium density models should only be used for lighter individuals who do not undertake high impact sports or recreational activities. Correct fitting for the 3/4 length orthosis is important; the front leading edge should sit 0.5 cm behind the metatarsal head area. It is recommended that this product be fitted by a qualified health professional.
Applications:
Ideal for treatment of tibialis posterior dysfunction; dorsal midfoot interosseus compression; midfoot osteoarthritis; plantar forefoot pain; plantar & posterior heel pain; anterior knee pain; shin splints.
