MANOEUVRABLE MID-WHEEL DRIVE
With a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair like the Orbit, you sit right above the turning axis, so the chair can be turned 360 degrees—on the spot. Those with very tight spaces in their homes and who need good manoeuvrability often choose mid-wheel drives.
Mid-wheel drive electric chairs are very stable due to the location of the chair’s centre of gravity. As a result, MWD chairs are the most stable chair configuration on slopes.
SINGLE OR DOUBLE SUPPORT CASTOR
Choose the rear castor that suits you best.
If you need maximum manoeuvrability, choose the Orbit’s single-wheel rear castor.
Or, if you need the most stable rear castor configuration available—for example, for ascending vehicle loading ramps—then the dual-wheel rear castor will be perfect for you.
5 FRAME AND ACCENT COLOURS

There are five frame and accent colours to choose from: polar white, magic blue, red metallic, lemon reflex and sun yellow.
The colour accented sections are the seat tubes, back tubes, side panels, two-piece legrest and rim inserts.
CENTRAL LEG REST, 90° KNEE ANGLE
90° is the ideal angle for the leg, providing better flexion for the knee joint.
Not only that, with 90° leg rest you can get closer to desks and tables.
A centrally-mounted 90° leg rest also makes the Orbit more compact overall.
