Sometimes it is not possible to use a mechanical lifting hoist when away from home. Some examples could be going on a picnic, going to the beach, lifting people into boats, or even going camping. The Handi Sling will help open new horizons to enable people to be more active in many ways, without the necessity of having a mechanical hoist to lift them.
Main Features
Helpful manual lifting Sling
Slippery, breathable material
The Handi Pads are an optional extra. They attach to the webbing straps with Hook & Loop Tape. Using them make lifting the Handi Sling’s straps much more comfortable.
When designing the Handi Sling, we were very mindful that it is against Manual Handling principals to manually lift people. Before using, a risk assessment should be undertaken, including weight and co-operation of the Client and the ability of the Carers. Any instructions, suggestions, or videos are purely a guide. Manual Handling Trainers knows the abilities of the people doing the lift and the person being lifted. They may alter our suggestions to suit the Carers and person being lifted.

All Day Sling Material
Nylon
A strong, thin material with a Rip Stop thread in the material, to help reduce or prevent ripping. As the material is breathable the Slings can be left under the patients sitting in chairs. This reduces the need to remove the Sling after the patient has been hoisted into a chair, and then replace the Sling to pick them up again.
