FLOVAC® CANISTER Container Fully Disposable System 1.0 L, is used in the collection of organic and surgical fluids in suction. The FLOVAC® system is the result of twenty years of flow-meter™ experience in the production of disposable devices for the collection of suctioned fluids through high flow and high vacuum applications.
FLOVAC® CANISTER Containers consist of a rigid container and a lid which is to be hermetically coupled before the start of suction. Jar material is made of high clarity polypropylene and lid material consists of high density polyethylene (HDPE). This system mixes the simplicity and practicality, guaranteeing great safety from contamination of operators, for the suction plants and for the external environment thanks to the use of the latest manufacturing technologies and of absolutely reliable materials.
FLOVAC® CANISTER Containers are designed with the integration of antibacterial filters which are called FLOVAC® HYDROPHOBIC filters. This is used to filtrate smoke and other liquids which may pose as a bacterial threat to the operator. The function of the filter is to stop the suction when the fluid reaches the maximum collection level, which allows for the hospital vacuums to maintain bacterial protection during the normal suction.
Gelling Kits are provided as a water soluble powder pouch. This gelling kit is used after the suction process, by simply placing the pouch into the container. It grants further safety towards the operators, as highly efficient system consists of special absorbing powder which transforms the organic liquids into a semi-solid mass.
