The Sango Mid Wheel Drive Power Wheelchair is designed to offer a comfortable and versatile mobility solution for both indoor and outdoor use. Its rubber suspension system ensures a smooth and quiet drive by absorbing everyday vibrations and larger bumps.
The chair comes in two different chassis options, the compact advanced and the ultra-compact slimline, to meet individual requirements and environmental needs. The pivot bar provides additional stability on cambers and corners, making it easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces.
With 4-pole high torque motors, the chair provides smooth and precise handling, delivering a great driving experience. The chair offers different motor speeds of 6, 10, or 12.5 km/h to suit various indoor and outdoor environments.
The chair comes with 50 or 60Ah batteries, which provide a good range of driving and allow for the use of powered adjustment options. An upgrade to 78Ah batteries is also available for extended range and use. With an ultra-low seat height of 39cm, the chair allows for easy transfers, access under tables and furniture, and driving into Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV’s).
The Sango MWD can also be ordered with preparation for use of the DAHL drive system, making it a great option for driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle from the powered wheelchair.
