The Cubitus Fossa Elbow Splint is an arm splint, used mainly in Emergency Departments. It provides a quick and easy way to prevent an elbow from bending, but it still allows access to the veins for inserting drips etc.
About the Cubitus Fossa Elbow Splint
This Splint is made from strong aluminium, and it is comfortable against the skin. It is easy to clean with removable Hook & Loop type fastening.
Adjustments can be made for different arm sizes by fastening around the main frame of the splint.
General Public Restraint Authorisation Letter:
If this product
is purchased for use in a private home
, we require authorisation from a suitable person. This is to ensure it will be used correctly and safely by the family and/or carers, and that using it will not be dangerous. Examples of a suitable person who is able to sign the letter are: Occupational Therapist; Physiotherapist; Clinical Nurse Manager; Registered Nurse; Doctor; or another suitably qualified person.
