This new generation of E-LINK uses a unique Wireless Dongle as the wireless interface to the computer. Wi-Fi communication removes any need for connection cables, allowing greater portability and ease of use for the clinician, which is ideal for using E-LINK by the bedside, in a clinic or community setting. The new wireless components are designed to work alongside existing E-LINK hardware as well as functioning as fully independent wireless systems. All kits include wireless adaptors, wireless dongle, and battery chargers. Kit 1 has one wireless adaptor, Kit 2 has two wireless adaptors, and Kit 3 has three wireless adaptors.
