The BD Q-Syte™ Closed Access Device is a single-use, sterile device designed to provide secure access to a patient's vascular system. The BD Q-Syte™ Device delivers optimal leur access performance due to its straight and unobstructed fluid path, providing dramatically higher fluid rates, low priming volume and flexibility to use ISO-compatible leur slip or leur lock connection. The Leur Device has a smooth surface that is easily cleaned before access, with no crevices or gaps around the surface to harbour bacteria. The Closed Access Device provides clear housing to allow for visual assessment of fluid and a simple fluid path to reduce places for bacteria to grow.
