The BD Eclipse™ Safety Needle is a Hypodermic needle with pivoting- shielding for efficient safety during activation. It is designed to specifically reduce the risk of accidental needle stick injury, with minimal change in injection technique. The unique SmartSlip Technology allows for the needle to attach more securely to the Luer slip syringe. For enhanced protection, the needle remains locked inside the needle cover, that is activated with just a touch go a finger. This BD Eclipse™ Safety Needle is bevel oriented, making it suitable to low angle injections and blood collection.
