Atrauman® Silicon
is a wound contact layer composed of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) net as the carrier material which is coated on both sides with silicone gel. Atrauman® Silicon
Contact Layer is applied under the secondary dressing and prevents it from sticking to the wound bed. Atrauman® Silicon assists with acute and chronic wounds such as skin tears, donor sites, grafts and traumatic wounds. It is ideal for sensitive skin.
Features & Benefits:
Atrauman® is coated with silicone on both sides to provide atraumatic dressing changes. The Atrauman® open weave allows the passage of wound exudate into the secondary dressing. Atrauman® Contact Layer is thin, soft and conformable and can stay in place for up to 7 days.
